no account. no cloud. no server. noapps.

All of it in here. None of it anywhere else.

no account · no cloud · no server

noapps
noun· /ˈnoʊ.æps/

The one app you keep after deleting the ten that promised to fix your life.

the idea

delete ten apps. keep one.

A hard drive is safe, but unsorted.
A cloud is sorted, but it is not yours.
noapps is the sorted hard drive.

Notes, journal, files, images, contacts, tracker, tools and a vault. It runs offline. It has no account. It has no server. Nothing leaves the device unless you send it.

why it is built this way

three quiet decisions.

no address
Your data has no address on the internet. It sits on your device, in your hand, and opening it means holding that device. Nothing about it can be reached from somewhere else.
nothing to switch off
noapps runs without us. There is no server behind it, so there is nothing that could be shut down, locked or handed over. The app on your device is complete, and it stays complete.
silence, by design
The app never says that a word was wrong, because it does not know what would have been right. A path opens what belongs to it. Anything else changes nothing on the screen.
the vault

nothing answers.

noapps has no hidden folder and no wrong password. Content disappears behind a word you choose. Type the right word and it opens. Type anything else and nothing happens. No error, no hint, no sign that anything is here.

There is no list of paths and no place the word is written down. What lies behind a path is encrypted on the device, and a backup carries only that sealed form. Without the word, nobody opens it. Including us.

Your things are not behind a door. There is no door.

That is the feature.

the export

one button.
one file.
without us.

One tap produces a single file. A real ZIP with everything in it.

Inside sits an index.html that shows your entire record as readable pages, in any browser, on any computer, offline, with the app deleted.

An import brings all of it onto a new device. That is not a promise in the fine print. It is a button.

With Lifetime, the backup keeps itself current without you thinking about it, and the export gains a designed archive: an offline website with navigation, one page per entry, books as registers, images embedded, and a print version. Both open in any browser, without internet and without our app.

Everything lives on your device. Nothing needs an account, nothing needs to be online, nothing scrolls forever.
